Till We Meet Again Mickey!
We made the trek down to Disneyland one last time before our passes expire next week. I guess it's time to say goodbye to Disneyland at least for a while since Max is more interested in the hotel we'll be staying at rather than Disneyland itself. It's so weird to think that on our first trip to D-land, Jack wasn't even walking and now, I already have another little baby who, like Jack, will not remember one thing about his Disneyland experience. Good thing their mommy will. So, for the record, sweet baby Gus rode on Dumbo, Teacups, It's A Small World, Pirates, Toy Story, Jungle Cruise, and the train on his first trip to the Magic Kingdom and was a perfect little angel most of the time (which says a lot for my very gassy baby).

So after 14 days this past year and a half spent at Disneyland, we bid farewell...
Goodbye to the tram that takes us to and from the parking lot.
Goodbye to the Mickey in the grass that I always make my family stop and take a picture in front of.
Goodbye to the carousel that Blake or I always take the boys on while the other one of us waits in the long line for Dumbo.
Goodbye Dumbo, Jack's hands down favorite ride, that he usually ends up crying on because Max picks the color of Dumbo first.
Goodbye Blake waiting a few people back in line so he can get on the next set of Dumbos with the boys and Jack can ride in his favorite color, orange. We are so, so sneaky.
Goodbye teacups that I'm getting much, much, much too weak in the stomach for.
Goodbye It's A Small World that always breaks down when we're on it.
Goodbye to my favorite restaurant that serves the tastiest pulled pork sandwiches, pasta salad, and baked beans.
Goodbye California Adventure and the long, long walk and long, long wait to the only ride in the entire park that the boys really like--Toy Story.
Goodbye to the Toon Town rollercoaster that Jack is finally tall enough to ride. Remember the first time we came he couldn't even walk. He is so big. Sigh.
Goodbye Blue Bayou restaurant in Pirate's of the Caribbean that I've always wanted to try and finally planned ahead enough to make reservations. Their Monte Cristo has nothing on Mama's.
Goodbye to all the big rides that Max so kindly goes on with me and Blake. He is such a good sport to hold his hands up in the air on Splash Mountain, Tower of Terror, Thunder Mountain Railroad and Soarin' Over California with us. And he usually even says he likes the rides. For the last ride on this trip, Blake took Max on Space Mountain for the first time. Max said it was too fast, too dark, and too scary. But I know one day he's going to love it.
Goodbye to the train that we always take to the front of Main Street before leaving the park.
Honorable mention goodbyes go to the Jungle Cruise where the boys are scared to death of the piranhas that shoot water, the Nemo ride that I absolutely hate due to the longest line ever, and the super yummy pineapple ice cream.
And last, but not least, goodbye to Mickey. We will miss you.
Or at least most of us will...Jack may be big enough to ride on a rollercoaster, but that doesn't mean he's still not terrified of the big mouse.

I am so glad we got to go with you the first time! Was it the first time? You are one fun family!
wow. what a disney tribute. my favorite picture is terrified max on the ride with a gleeful, arm-stretched blake, oblivious to terrified max.
pretty sure i've never been to disneyland 14 times.
Love the last picture with Mickey:)
wow. and to think my kids have never even been! sad that i don't even remember or know about almost all the rides mentioned. what a fun trip.
I think it is still a pretty good bet that you'll hit Disney Land again in the future! So.... hold that thought of coming back! So much fun for everyone!
