Lucky

My day started out pretty nice. Blake surprised us with fresh maple bars from Happy Donut and some lovely green carnations. But then, everything turned wrong. I had the most awful morning involving a rental car parked in a street cleaning area that I had to run to move in time, a non-stop screaming baby, kids I had to lock out of my room so I could quickly get ready, a neighbor knocking on the door to ask me to move the car that I had double parked since there are no empty spots when it's street cleaning, not answering my bedroom door as Max was knocking for me while the neighbor standing in the midst of our very dirty house, and not being able to find the little green shirt I bought for my future baby at the $1 section at Target last year. I felt like my life as a mother of three was falling apart. Then, just as I was about to break down in tears, there was my tender mercy--I found the shirt.
It may seem kind of silly, but it's things like finding the missing little green shirt that remind me I can do this and that I'm not alone. I am so lucky to be the mother of these three boys.

green shirts definitely prove you are not alone. so do yellow ones, red ones, blue ones, even pink ones.

It's the little victories. Three boys are rough. No one knows more than me!! Love you. I lock my door sometimes too. Only Braden is old enough to get the key and come in anyway!
