Six Flags
Yesterday, after we dropped Andy and Bri off at the airport, we headed up to Six Flags' Dental School Day. We got a steal of a deal on tickets and since we've never been this was the perfect time to go. This Six Flags was a fun mix between Seaworld and Disneyland. We got our picture taken with Clyde the sea lion and saw the dolphin show and Shouka the whale show. The shows didn't hold Max's attention, but Jack LOVED them. He got all comfy on his belly and enjoyed the shows.
And the rides were so much fun for two reasons: 1) No lines to get on the rides; and 2) Most of the rides the kids could go on by themselves. Jack felt like such a big boy when he got to "do it by myself."
And on the rides Jack was too short for, lucky Blake got to tag along!
As for me, pregnant women were not allowed on ANY rides. None. Don't worry, I still managed to sneak my way on to a few. Like the train that puttered around more slowly and smoothly than I walk. But I didn't mind sitting out since they were also handing out Halloween candy all around the park. I stationed myself near the stand that was handing out full-size peanut butter Twix bars and waited for the worker to change so I could go get more. YUM. But sorry, no pictures of that. :)The other highlight of the night was the shark exhibit. Jack loved it. Max loved it for a minute but then was ready to go. Jack could have stayed there all night. When we asked the boys what their favorite part of Six Flags was Jack said, "The SHARKS!" and Max said, "Everything except the sharks!" Thanks for a fun day Six Flags.

i had no idea six flags had kid rides, sharks and dolphins! sounds super fun. i like the picture of jack riding the elephant and making the noise. cute.
i'm so confused. six flags has kid stuff? is it the same thing as magic mtn? and i laughed that you waited for the worker to change so you could get another candy bar. you're so sneaky. funny how opposite jack and max are.
Andy and Bri sure missed out on that one! Those boys sure are growing up fast! Rides by themselves! Lucky Blake, sneaking in on a few with Jack! Of course, the candy is a pretty good option too!
six flags NEVER had kid stuff when we went. i'm confused, also. is it magic mountain in valencia?
It's the Six Flags in Vallejo. It's called Discovery Kingdom. It also has big roller coasters just like Magic Mountain.
