More Classes

I've officially given up on my non-schedule life. Now my life is SCHEDULED! To the schedule we've added music class and t-ball class. Two hours in a row. I had no idea how the boys would handle such a long time commitment. Music was first and Max did so well. I can tell that his school is really paying off since he actively participates and follows the instructions. Before school, when I used to try to take him to a lap sit at the library, it was a nightmare. So, thank you school! Max said his favorite part of the class was the drums. This boy loves instruments! But my favorite part was watching him do the dancing that went along to "Who Let the Dogs Out?"
Jack, on the other hand, acted just as I expected. Most of the time he was near the door, trying to get out. The only time he would come over was for the instruments.

After some quick running around, it was time for t-ball. First they practiced being in the "ready position" to field the ball and then worked on how to catch it. Jack was so cute doing this.
Next they worked on running the bases. Max was excited to show me how fast he was and loved yelling "BAM" every time someone touched a base. And, to my surprise, little Jack got up and ran the bases all by himself too.
Then was actually hitting the ball. At first Max got nothing but tee, but soon he was hitting some serious bunts! :)
Jack had some good hits, too, but soon chasing the birds became more exciting and he was off.
And the rest of the day, the three of us napped. Well, except Max. He watched a movie. Napping will always be a part of the schedule!

I have to agree with Nanny.... I miss those days! As hectic as they may seem, they are wonderful!

You've found so many wonderful opportunities for the boys! GREAT JOB!

WOW.... musicians and real athletes in that family! Andy said he'd set up his drums here at the house. I just might let him! What do you think?
