A Gift

There must be something special about this pregnancy. Something very special, indeed. With my other two pregnancies, Blake never gave me a specific "Congratulations--You're Pregnant" or "Thanks for carrying my child!" gift, but this time he did. And quite the gift it was. After almost 7 years of walking three blocks to the parking lot to get our car, or having to move the car every two hours if it's parked on the street (both with two small children, mind you), I have been gifted the gift of time and saved-energy--a pass to park on the street for as long as I please. Hooray! I'm a changed woman. Now I think having three kids is going to be a breeze--if I can ever get out of the house! :)

Wow! No more lugging stroller, purse, kids in the rain to the car! Way to go Blake!

Yeah, Rusty mentioned 'push presents' the other day, he thought it was something his coworker made up. I informed him otherwise...

There may be another gift coming, soon too... :)

I remember you asked one time when you rented a van for a few days --

"Is a mini-van in our future??"

If your car's big enough maybe you can fit the car seats in the back seat.

Congratulations on the parking pass! What a relief and burden lifted. :)

this made me miss san francisco so much. i loved seeing that ugly sticker on our car once we moved here (until our car got hailed on and we sold it to the insurance company). i can't believe you never had a permit! it's the best feeling in the world to get home from somewhere and see a parking spot right in front of your house open! enjoy!
