Fleet Week

Ah, the joys of fleet week. Interrupted naps and lots of ear plugging! Good thing we love the death-defying shows, watching those planes fly so close together as they loopty-loop around the Golden Gate Bridge. And lucky for my family, Fleet Week fell perfectly around Jack's birthday so they got to participate in the ear-plugging, too!

Friday we watched from the Marina Green. It wasn't very crowded so we had lots of room to run around. Saturday WAS crowded but we were lucky enough to get prime spots (both for our blanket and our car) right next to Golden Gate Bridge at Chrissy Fields. Some people loved the show and others just loved taking resting under the sun. But I think everyone's favorite part of Fleet Week was when Max would come up to you and say, "You better run!" Then he would either chase you or you'd chase him while he bossed you in which direction to run. Everyone got a turn at that fun game--definitely the highlight!

Maybe this will be a yearly tradition. What do you say guys?
