Seriously, the Happiest!

Even though not everyone in our family has the biggest smiles in these pictures and as soon as we walked through the gates we started sweating profusely and continued sweating throughout the rest of the hot, hot, hot October Orange County day, I'm pretty sure the boy's first trip to Disneyland was an absolute success. All four of us went nonstop the entire day (with a one hour nap at different times for each child). We rode Dumbo (3 times), Peter Pan (2 times), Pinocchio, Alice in Wonderland, Nemo (2 times), Autopia, Roger Rabbit, Mr. Toad, and Buzz Lightyear (6 times). And when I say "we" I mean all four of us. Baby Jack was a real trooper, only crying at the scary blue light fish on the Nemo ride, which was understandable since I saw Blake jump a little too. Blake and I perfected the "child swap" having one of us wait in line while the other went with the boys on the ride then handing the kids back to the line waiter so they could ride twice after only waiting in line once. We thought we were being so sneaky, but turns out Disneyland is pretty smart and actually already legalized our exact plan.



The only ride Max went on without Jack was the rollercoaster in Toon Town. This boy loves rollercoasters--he kept his hands up the entire ride. And speaking of rollercoasters, our friends who were at Disneyland with us were nice enough to watch the boys so Blake and I could go on Space Mountain. Our only Disneyland regret--not getting a good picture of Max with Cinderella Audrey.
