Canoeing
Max has been begging Grandpa to take us canoeing since we got here. Today Max got his wish. We had so much fun paddling around Bountiful Pond and having Grandpa tell us about all the birds. The boys can now successfully identify pelicans. But the most fun part was when Grandpa pulled out the squirt gun. At first Max was content trying to shoot the paddles, but soon, Grandpa was soaked. Thank you for spending your day with us, Grandpa! Next on Max's agenda is canoeing with fishing poles!
Jack notes:
1. His favorite brachiosauruses also got to come along.
2. One orange flip flop, one blue flip flog. I got him new orange ones, his favorite color, but he lost one. So, this is the only way we can get him to go out of the house. Stylish, right?

i like jack's idea of creative and unique shoe wear. i like that the brachiosaurus didn't end up as fish food in the pond and actually came back home with him. i like that grandpa is so innovative and energetic and kind-hearted to do so many fun things with these little guys.
