No Locking Doors
Remember how Max is obsessed with unlocking/locking doors. So, a while ago he started locking the door whenever he went into his room. Harmless, I know, as long as he could unlock it. But we didn't want it to become a habit. So every time he locked a door he had to sit in time out. After a gazillion times sitting in time out he could easily recite to us, "No locking doors. Sit in time out door lock." Our efforts at effective parenting were definitely not working and today Max proved it to us by locking the door to his bedroom, coming out of the room, and closing the door behind him...with Jack inside. Blake had to take off the entire knob for us to get in. So, now this is what Max's door looks like. Sorry if you're visiting in the near future and were expecting some privacy.
The only good thing about the big hole in the door is when Max wakes up from his nap, this is what I get to see. I love this guy!

i love the peep hole picture. so cute. luckily we haven't had to deal with locked doors yet...ruby did it once and was so freaked out after she couldn't get out of her room that it's never happened again. i can see chloe making us take off the door knobs in the future though. and you're quite the poster lately as well!
Man, Max is super funny lately! I love the pictures!
What a darling eye! How could such a cute guy that like ever even get in trouble!
it's worth it just for that picture; forget about replacing the knob:)
