FAMOUS

Look who's on the front page of the Chronicle today? The FRONT PAGE! No, not the prisoners, my two boys!
I know Blake looks very meditative, which he was, but actually this picture was taken during the invocation. The photographer came over and asked Blake some questions about why we were there, trying to prompt him with the "right" answers, like his dad was in Iraq. But since we didn't have those kind of answers we didn't think we'd make the paper. When Blake checked this morning we couldn't believe it. So, if you want a hard copy, just let us know. After Blake showed the man at the corner store that he was on the front page, he gave us a whole stack free. Max can even put stickers on it as a form of autograph, if you want!

Blake isn't quoted, but the caption under the picture says, "Blake of San Francisco brought his 2-year-old son, Max, to Memorial Day ceremonies at the Presidio.

That is so cool!

Referring to your last post: Grandma should make a copy of all the letters and give the bundle to each of us...that way we can all share the love. Or maybe I could do a little work...I feel a project coming on.

WOw that is cool!

And yes I would love some recommendations of what to do while we are in San Fran- maybe like best places to eat (that aren't fancy or expensive) and tourist "must sees". It will be Ben's first time to SF ever and I have been a few times but don't know as well the best of the best!
