Us vs. Them

Our Arizona family is always trying to do their best to persuade us to move to the desert. Arizona has promises of excellent schools, COUSINS, and best of all, Nanny's pool! But it seems there is a force working against our family. The scorpions have formed an army with the single mission of keeping us out of Arizona. Whenever we visit, the first thing Blake does is scour our bedroom with a black light for members of this little army. And slowly, but surely, he is defeating them. Well, this time those little monsters had their own victory. As Blake was unpacking his suitcase last night, he found a kamikaze mission had been launched. A noble warrior had made the ultimate sacrifice to help further their cause.
Even though they have the scare tactic (oh--and POISON!) on their side, I'm pretty sure I'd rather have Blake's shoe on my side.

Good thing you killed him...you wouldn't want to be the ones responsible for introducing scorpions into a bug-free zone.

you are quite the writer addi. very entertaining. and very scary too. i don't think anything scares me more. by the way, our house doesn't have them, so there are homes sans scorpions in AZ. it's still an option....

Addi, what a story , so sorry that little bugger stowed away! We also do not have scorpoins! We have albino lizards though, which I would much rather have, they eat all of our bugs! Glad Blake caught him before he could do any damage!

YIKES! That's pretty freaky. I hope all is well with you guys (barring the whole scorpion incident) and we can't wait to meet Brother. Oh, and Hudson still asks for "Maa" every once in a while.

That is one BRAVE Warrior! I'm Glad he is on our side! I knew there was a good reason I'd agree to let Blake marry you and wisk you off to California (away from home)! What a protector! Keep it up!
Love you all!

Shut up! Talk about sneak attack! And we are also a scorpion free neighborhood, my pest control guy will write you a note that confirms it if you want... just move not to Hall Cir! They have them the worst there!

scarier post than I was hoping for. I keep waiting for the post of the new arrival. Could you please have that baby already?

yuck, yuck, yuck. I'm glad it was in Blake's stuff and not Max's! Then you would have had to kill it if Blake wasn't home!
