Jack's First Week
Jack has been super busy during his first week alive. He eats a lot, sleeps a lot, and burps a lot. And he gets his picture taken A LOT, especially since Nanny and Grandma have been here. Some of my favorite pictures--
First night at home, warm and snug. I can't resist a man in doggy-footed jammies.
Jack found his thumb and loves his bouncer.
Jack went on his first walk outside in the bjourn. He got all bundled up and was alert the entire time. He finally fell asleep when we got home.

Jack also had his first doctor's appointment on Friday. Jack now weighs 8 pounds 11 ounces. That means Jack has already regained and passed his birth weight. Amazing. This boy is a monster. These are pictures of him in his car seat on the way to the doctor.

But I'm pretty sure Jack's favorite part of being alive is his big brother. Max is the best. He lets us know when Jack starts crying and gives him kisses to make him all better. If that doesn't work, he tries to stick Jack's paci in his mouth or give him pats. Max helps change Jack's diapers by pulling out wipes and unfolding diapers. He also does a lot of fetching--blankets, burp rags, etc. Max has read Jack books and loves to hold his hand. I am one lucky mom.

Okay I almost teared up when I read about how Max is such a good big brother! I don't know why, but very sweet. They will be great brothers for always.
All the pics are so cute its hard to pick my favorite. But I do love the one of Jack sucking his thumb and the one of you reading to your boys. Can't wait to see Max in action being such a big helper!
gosh addi. who'd have thought you just had a 2nd baby with all the blogging you're doing. looks like having your baby gave you more energy and free time? i'm confused. and wholy cow. can you say robison baby? he looks EXACTLY like bumpah.
and i could never live somewhere chilly/cold. i like my babies in onesies and that's it. all that bundling to keep him warm hides the tiny baby!
Once I had my second baby, I had way more energy than when I was pregnant with a toddler. Good job on getting out! Oh, and I LOVE it when they can fetch things for you. I'm going to milk that for as long as Sam lets me. :) Sam read Charly a book the other day. So cute!
He is still adorable, ofcourse! max is a great older brother. Brady really started liking Izzy when sthe started crawling, now she follows him around the house. He lOVES it!
You are a pretty lucky Mom, Addi. But I think your boys are pretty lucky to have such a great mom, too. Great pictures!
Wow..... what an awesome week! Thanks so much for letting me be a part of it! I will say.... you have one fun, busy, loving family! Oh ya, I loved the photo's! Great memories for such a great time!

Grandma
Thanks for posting pictures of Jack with the carseat cover and knitted hat. You don't have to, you know, but it does make me feel good to see them! Such a cute baby - I really love that stripped outfit.
I also need to let you know that I tagged you! Go to my blog to see what to do.
