Getting Ready for Brother
Okay, okay. So, I know this post is a little late, but I thought I'd have more time before Baby Jack actually came to post this. That little guy definitely surprised us. Max and I had so much fun pulling out all the little baby clothes and accessories. It was like getting all new toys for Max. These are some of Max's favorite baby accessories--
The bouncer. Actually, when he usually sits in it, it tips over backwards because he is too heavy for it. We have a big scrape on our wall to prove it.
The Baby Bjourn. Max loves carrying his puppy around in it. The puppy has been all over the place in it, including the park and the grocery store.
Then, the other day, Max was playing so quietly in his room, I knew something was going on. I went in to check on him and this is what I found. Apparently Elmo was ready to take a nap. Max even shared his paci and blankey with him. Lucky Elmo.
And I basically belong to the best playgroup EVER! The day before Baby Jack came, I had a playgroup shower. These terrific girls got me the most relaxing "deluxe pedicure" to get ready for Brother to come. I'm pretty sure I had the most beautiful red toe nails in the entire hospital. Thank you so much wonderful friends!

What a great big brother Max is. I love the Baby Bjourn pic and that he took his puppy to the park and grocery store! I can just imagine seeing him walking around with it.
i didn't know max was so gentle and motherly (is that a word?). whenever i've seen him it's just been non-stop running and playing and then he's gone in a flash. what a big helper i'm sure he is with jack. (you should put baby jack in a pumpkin for halloween for your own jack-o-lantern. i just thought of that.)
Max caring for Elmo is my favorite one - he would definitely get along with Sally and Adri these days - except I don't let the girls play with the real pacifiers - they would think it was too much fun using them for themselves!
I was actually looking for my face in the picture. So sad.
the bouncer pic is my fav. i love that hes in a recliner. and i think thats cute he went to the store with the bjorn and his puppy. pretty soon hell be able to take jack instead!
