Birthday Boys!

I have two special boys who are celebrating their birthdays today. First is Max, whose mom finally got it together on his 13 month birthday and gave him a little party. The party activities included tug-o-war (over the vaccuum), pin the nose on Baby Charly, and an eating contest (only moms allowed). The party was a success! Except Max still wasn't sure about his cupcake. He didn't like to get his hand messy and would try to shake the icing off, obviously having little success. But he was okay with dipping the candle in and licking the cake off it. Hey, whatever works.

The other special birthday boy is
Max's Great Grandpa Phil! He turned the big NINE-O today! Max was very sad he couldn't see Grandpa on his birthday since they are very good friends. Here's a picture of Max playing with Grandpa in June. I think Max was a little confused that someone has less hair than he does! We love you Grandpa!
