Time Flies!

Today I've been thinking about all the things that have happened so quickly around me. First off, today was graduation from dental school. That means it was a whole year ago that I was the one going to all the fancy schmancy dinners and lunches, had family visiting, and was jealously watching all Blake's classmates and their families "move-on." This is the 5th graduating class that we've seen pack up and leave our beautiful city. Am I ever going to get a turn?
Second, I am now officially 22 weeks pregnant. Over half way there. Geez, that went fast. It's much different being pregnant chasing a little toddler around rather than sitting in front of a computer researching your pregnancy every day all day. I am already starting to get uncomfortable and feel like my belly is much bigger than it really is. Only 4 months to go--we can't wait for Brother.Third, my little monster is officially 18 months old TODAY! And to celebrate, he cried as soon as we left him in nursery and the leaders brought him to me after only 10 minutes. What's the deal with that? He all of the sudden started to talk so much. It's hard for me to remember when he was just a little baby. But I know whatever stage he's in at the time is how I want him to stay forever. He is so much fun right now. Every night Blake and I spend so much time playing with him and letting him torture us (Blake has proof of the torture on his baby toe). I love this little guy.

What a cute picture of Max! And you are right, you must feel bigger than you are because you are still tiny!

i can't believe you asked when it is going to be your turn "to pack up and leave this beautiful city!"
i have never known any family to love that city as much or take advantage of all it has to offer as much as you 3 do. and you have "moved on;" you just haven't left the premises.

i love the beautiful picture of you (love the shoes, have the skirt) and can't wait to see you in person friday. ditto for mr. max. oh yeah, and blake. by the way, we never send our kids back out to the parents in our nursery. if they cry, they get one of us all to themselves until they stop. i carry lots of spare socks in my nursery bag.

Sweet post Addi, I agree with Beth, your belly is still TINY! And don't worry, Braden still cries and has to be brought to me from his CTR5 class, usually for crying but sometimes for hitting the teacher, hey, atleast its not another kid...

you're right addi. it IS time for you to move on...right back here to mesa. we'll start looking for a house for you guys.

Okay, okay. I wrote that in a moment of weakness. I really don't want to leave, I just get sad thinking about everyone leaving.

Nanny, why do you need socks for the kids? Blake thinks it's to put over their heads so they'll stop crying?

Caryn, HILARIOUS! Braden gives me hope.

no, silly addi! blake was on the right track--the socks are to stuff in the kids' mouths to get them to stop crying! haven't you ever heard the expression, "put a sock in it?"

it was a joke:)

Funny Patti, in our ward here the guy who had the 13-14 class before Rusty was called got released for using ductape on a kid-NO LIE. And Addi, we like to use the term 'kicked out of primary' rather than 'unacceptable behavior resulting in the return of child to parent'-- fun times, luckily most of the primary pres knows he's not really that bad normally-except on sundays and trips to the dentist. Who can blame him???

i can't believe it's been a year since i had such a migraine blake was having to stop the car and pull over to the side just so i could throw up. and that was BEFORE the ethiopian restaurant:). i wish i didn't get so stressed at graduations and events. i really did love it! will i ever have another blake graduation again?
