Gus's First Week
Gus spent his most of his first week alive eating and sleeping...
going to the doctor to make sure he was eating (which he is. On Thursday he weighed 7 pounds 4 ounces. That's 6 ounces in two days!)...
and being loved on, mostly by his big brothers. So far it seems like Max has taken on more of a protector role. He helps make sure I have on my hooter hider, fetches burp rags and diapers, and tells on Jack when he touches Gus's head. It's Jack who is the little lover. He always wants to hold Baby Gus, touch Baby Gus, and talk some sweet baby talk to Baby Gus.
Gus, you are one very, very loved baby. Happy 1st week!

can't wait to get copies of all these pictures. he's so precious.
What a great bunch of little guys! Gus, I'm sure, won't have much to worry about! He'll always be taken care of by those two older brothers! What a lucky family!
i have a protector/tattler and a smotherer too. only i have two smotherers. (is that even a word??) i need another protector.
