Exhausted
Our trip to Arizona really wore us out. Really. Our flight left yesterday at 7:30 am, so in addition to all our non-stop fun, we had an early morning wake-up call. Then, after some short naps on the plane, after we got home we were going a little stir crazy and ended up playing at the park. I had Jack home in bed a little before 2 pm and Max and I played until 3:30 when I gave up and turned on a movie and soon Max was also a goner on the couch. I stayed awake until 5, when Blake came home for some quick dinner before heading to work before I zonked out on the couch. The next thing I knew, it was 7:30 and Blake was home from work. Both boys were still asleep, I was still sleepy, so I went back to sleep. The next time I woke up, it was 10:00. Baby and I were hungry. So I ate a bowl of cereal and went into the room to sleep with Blake who was also dead to the world. The next time I woke up, it was 2:00 am. Max wanted some water and I needed to make sure Jack was still alive. He was. Then Max and I went back to sleep with Blake in our bed. The next thing I know it is 8:00 am and I can hear Jack talking in his bedroom.

Blake: 11 hours of straight sleep
Addi: 15 hours of on-and-off sleep
Max: 16.5 hours of sleep, with one break for water
Jack: 18 hours of STRAIGHT sleep

i can't believe it. jack slept FOREVER. almost ditto on everyone else. i only remember one time like that when all 9 of us fell asleep on the family room floor one sunday after church--a long long time ago.
Oh... having fun is so good! And.... so is the rest at home!
i don't understand what about AZ wore you out!?! EIGHTEEN hours of straight sleep? and everyone else's was long too. at least you didn't have one child who wasn't tired!
