Zoie Came to Visit!

Who cares about Matt and Beth! Baby Zoie came to visit us! And let me tell you, this girl loves San Francisco. She told me. She said, "Please have Blake bug my mom and dad to death by setting up job interviews for my dad, finding apartments to manage for my mom, and calling them non-stop to tell them how awesome San Francisco is." Well, Zoie, Blake did his best. And hopefully this "recruiting trip" to San Francisco was not a disappointment. We had so much fun touring all of San Francisco and taking a lot of pictures. Well, mostly pictures of Zoie during her several photo shoots, but we got some good family ones, too.

One of the highlights of their trip was venturing across the Golden Gate Bridge. The first stop was Muir Woods. It was perfect for Max to run around a little and for the babies to get some fresh air. And we actually got to put our double stroller to some use since lately Max has refused to ride in it. I can't tell you how many times we got asked if these two were twins. Those people must not have got a very good look at the babies since the only thing they really have in common is they're both wearing hats!
After Muir Woods, we drove up to Mt. Tamalpais for some spectacular views. Seriuosly--spectacular! All three babies were sleeping so Beth and I waited in the car while Blake and Matt hiked up (or close) to the top. I love that they took pictures of each other. I wonder what the other hikers were thinking...

And, of course, what would be a trip up north without stopping in Sausalito for some yummy, yummy, yummy, banana with chocolate chunks and caramel swirls ice cream. EVERYONE (but poor Jack) thoroughly enjoyed it!

And every night we had so much fun at home, watching the babies play together (Zoie has become quite the scoocher, trying to steal Jack's toys), playing NES (Well, at least Blake and Matt did. When they finally decided to try something besides Techmo Bowl, and invited Beth to play Wheel of Fortune, the game went all crazy. However, when it did, Beth was ahead!), doing the Absolutely Abs and Thin Thighs workout videos (I know, now THAT'S what you want to see pictures of) and kicking some boy trash at Friends Scene It (Finally I had a partner who could beat Blake!). Max is already asking where Baby Zoie went. My boys love their cousins!

Come back and visit (or just move out!) soon! We miss you already and I'm sure Zoie is ready for some more Bay Area fun!

i laughed so hard that blake and matt took individuals of each other. i'll tell you what the other hikers thought---that they were perfect SF residents! the action shot of max licking the icecream cone looks like it should be in a magazine. good job. what fun pictures.

Atleast we didn't set up the timer to get both of us like Matt wanted to...actually Matt was too polite to tell me how lame it looked and it really is Beth and Addi's fault for using their kids as an excuse to stay in the car.

Wow Beth never blogs anymore so it is good to see something she has been up to and pics of miss Zoie. Looks like you guys had a great time. Are they really thinking of moving there?

Speaking of how wonderful San Fran is... it looks like we'll be moving over that way (not to san Fran :( but to north of Sacramento.. still close enough to take a day trip and my good friend...) :)
