Happy Easter!

Our Easter celebration actually started Wednesday with a fun playgroup egg hunt. Doesn't spring in San Francisco look so springy--jackets, hats, and bright red noses! Max was actually much better at this egg hunt than the one in Utah. This time he found the egg, then opened it up, checked out the contents, put the candy he wanted in his basket, and threw the other candy and egg back on the ground. Not once did he dump out his basket. This time I only had to pick up a partial mess. Yea! But just like the egg hunt in Utah, he came away with a green face. Green really is his favorite color. I love our playgroup. What would I do without the moms of these super cute kids?

Saturday night we decorated eggs. And, again, Max proved his favorite color is green by trying to put all the eggs in the green dye. It took some real negotiating for him to try some different colors. He thought it was pretty cool how you could write on the egg with a white crayon and then it would magically appear in the dye. He basically thought Blake was some sort of magician. And this year's egg dying accident didn't involve any eggs cracking. If you look closely at the picture of me with the boys, you can probably tell where Jack's foot is about to smash down and what it is about to splatter all over the table.

The Easter Bunny this morning was basically a bust. Apparently he didn't bring cool enough stuff. Max didn't stop and look, or even give a second glance to his basket. And yes, it even had candy in it. Who is this boy? I just figure he knows the TRUE meaning of Easter, right? After church, though, we did have fun reading his new New Testament book and trying to read Jack's Easter book. Max wouldn't let any one but Jack hold it--"No, dat's Baby Jack's book!" For dinner we were invited over to our dear friends' house. It was so nice of them to carry on our Easter dinner tradition, even though as the years go by the group of diners changes so much. This is our third Easter dinner together, basically a lifetime of Easter dinners for us San Franciscans. And it was so nice of them to host, since last year, at our house, we had a major casualty. Yes, that is Jonny Fisher. And yes, he is holding half of our glass table top. And yes, he did break it trying to get more ice cream. And yes, we did forgive him. Actually I was VERY happy to get rid of that table. And it only took six months of having a table from the church before we got our own new, beautiful, black table. I love it. Now if those Fishers could just move back and break my chairs!

And I have to post a picture of my precious boys in their new Easter outfits. This is the best picture I got and I love it to pieces! Happy Easter!

I would just like to clarify that Jon barely touched your faulty glass tabletop. And we would be happy to break anything else that belongs to you!
