SANTA!
Hip! Hip! Hooray! Finally, finally, finally, I have a boy who actually sat on Santa's lap, talked to him, and did not cry. Not even a single tear. Max is such a big boy and we've been practicing over and over what you say to Santa.
Santa: What's your name?
Max: Max.
Santa: Have you been good this year?
Max: Yes.
Santa: Good. What would you like for Christmas?
Max: A turtle and a movie.
And it went perfectly. No glitches. And Max was so proud of himself until he realized he forgot to tell Santa which movie he wanted. Luckily, we had another chance to talk to Santa at Disneyland. Phewf. He wants the Little Einsteins movie with the fire engine.
But Jack did not like Santa. Just standing in line waiting to see the big guy, Jack was freaking out, holding on to Blake for dear life. We gave Jack another chance with Santa at Disneyland and this time he still clenched on to Blake, but didn't cry. I think he decided to use the "if I don't look at you, you can't see me" tactic. But in case Santa was wondering, Jack would also like a turtle and a movie. He wants the movie "The Great Long Neck Migration" (Land Before Time XIII--yes, there really are that many) that he lovingly calls "Adventuring"--a movie we already own. Jack is making it very easy for Santa this year.
I'll take the 50% success rate. See you next year, Santa!

I was really hoping for another great picture with both boys crying. That was the BEST last year. Just another reminder how fast they are growing up.
50% isn't bad! Next you you should even get a higher percentage! However, you still might have one crying! Oh the fun memories of Christmas
i really like the screaming and clutching blake picture. those are the best.
