WHY?

It's here and it's in full force. "Why?" "Why?" "Why?" I used to think I was lucky. I only got a "why" here and there. But then, just yesterday, everything was, "Why? Why? Why?" I thought maybe it was a fluke. But nope. It's happening again today and I fear I'm in for a long ride. Only once during the past two days have I got an "oh." at the end of a series of why-questions. I know I shouldn't be complaining. I understand it's part of the learning process and I should be worried if he DIDN'T ask why, but it's just so exhausting thinking of answers to all those questions. I'm hoping {praying} that maybe if it's constant, nonstop, all the time, that maybe he'll run out of whys sooner? And actually, I like the first couple why questions. But why does every answer just lead to another "why?" Why?!? Why?!? Why?!?

the endless "why" questions are definitely a test of my patience. usually i fail that test, then later feel guilty that i'm not fostering my child's curiosity and instead silencing it. it's a wonderful rollercoaster ride. welcome aboard.

Um, on second thought maybe we can't hang out with you on Thursday...I don't want Hudson to come down with a case of the Why's. :)

Just kidding, we'll bring our best answers to help you out. Bring it on, Max!

P.S. Great picture!

Macey does the same thing...all day long. Sometimes I just end up saying: because thats the way heavenly father made it. That makes the whys stop. :)

such a cute picture. you should just flip the question on him and ask "why do you think?" i think it only works on some kids. others will say "i dont know, why?"

Cindy's mom would reply: "WHY DO YOU ASK?" That might stump him for a time or two. Way cute picture!

As SMART as Max is.... I'm way surprised that the "WHY" didn't come long before now. Concider yourself lucky! Then give him all the answers he asks for! After all..... that is WHY he is sooooo smart!
