Where is Thumbkin?
If you guessed in Jack's mouth, you are correct! This guy is in the early stages of becoming a thumb sucker. I believe he is currently in Stage 2 of the X Stage Program. (This is my first experience in this program, so if you are more experienced, please fill me in on the stages and signs.) He quickly went through Stage 1, general handsucking, and is now working on only the thumb. He has even been spotted taking the paci out of his mouth with one hand and holding on to it, while trying to shove the thumb of the other hand in his mouth. When people have noticed Jack's new habit, their first question is "How does Blake feel about this?" Of course he's not happy about it, but Jack's biggest critic is definitely Max. He always tells Jack, "No hand in mouth Jack! Only food in mouth." Hmmm...maybe that's why I found a tortilla chip in Jack's mouth the other day.

i love thumbsuckers--they are so sweet. i still melt seeing oscar when he has his little thumb in his mouth. remind blake that little jack is set to go on the orthodontics that his habit may require. and did you really find a tortilla chip in his mouth?! that's so nice of max...and sneaky.

Sally saw this picture and said, "Oh that's cute!" Hopefully he'll give it up, but it is so cute that you can't really want to stop it yet, right?
If that is the worst thing he does... you've got it made! What a darling photo! With such a "Great" big brother, Jack won't stray to far from the path! Way to go Max!
i love this little guy and miss him already. im sure he misses me more though. and i love him sucking his thumb. i didnt get to see it in person though.
