Welcome Home Gage!

Today Gage gets home from his mission in Illinois! I'm a little disappointed that he didn't stop in San Francisco to say hi, but understand that he wants to get home to his new room Nanny put together for him. So we'll have to wait for our reunion in August. I don't feel that bad, however, since I didn't go an entire two years without seeing him. Last March while we were in Chicago, Beth and I drove to Mattoon to see what Gage's mission life was like. We had fun spending a p-day with him--playing pool, enjoying some mid-west Mexican food, and checking out his very clean missionary pad. Max, on the other hand, is dying to see Gage! Since they've never met, Max has only heard stories and seen pictures of his uncle. But I'm pretty sure they're going to be good friends. And Blake's excited to see Gage and make sure he knows that even though Nanny did the room for Gage, it's still Blake's room. :) Welcome home Gage--we love you!

Nice pictures of Gage. I love the one of him in the field. Can't wait for everyone to be together (minus Beth and Ash).

wish you all could've been here! we had so much fun at the airport--it was actually pretty hysterical and we gave quite a performance to a gathering audience. ruby was the instant flirt, caden and jace attacked elder robison, crew came up and touched him with one finger and said, "gage," then was stuck to him the rest of the day. chloe shunned him completely and o slept through it all til we got home. it was worth the all-niter to get here! can't wait til august! and blake, we got a double bed for "your" room so you'd REALLY feel like it was still your room:).

Beth, I think you should ask Gary about our next trip. Shouldn't there be a girl's trip coming up soon? And wouldn't it be funny to have Nanny watch all the little grandbabies while we go?

i remember that gary promised the girls a trip to alaska a while ago....since the boys already got to go. and beth, i'm pretty sure i'm the favorite since i was the only sibling at the airport to welcome gage home.

rachel definitely has a point; her ratings in the polls soared with the airport showing today as the only sibling. and the hearts in the yard. and the signs on every cupboard, window and wall welcoming elder robison home. pretty sure she's winning. and
nanny definitely would go crazy trying to watch ALL the grandbabies at once, much as she would like to think she could do it. and i keep reminding dad every year about the girls' alaska trip; not sure he wants to remember:) never give up!
